Stereotypical Media
Stereotypical media within society today:
There's a lot of stereotypical Media around the world ranging from TV adverts and newspapers to music videos that may seem to have innocent intentions but stereotypical meanings when trying to aim at certain age or ethnic groups such as for example a KFC advert as in the USA they have a stereotype that all black men and women like chicken and watermelon this rumor developed during the slavery era. This happened within Australia where a KFC advert was being released which presented a Caucasian man surrounded by black people and then presenting a bucket of chicken thus making the crowd go silent and him ending it off b saying "to easy" this enraged a lot of African Americans when it reached the USA and they demanded for it to be taking off the air after some re evaluating from KFC they decided to strip it off air and apologies for the adverts misconception there have been a lot more adverts like this but with innocent ideas.

Throughout popular TV shows such as family guy, south park, and American Dad there have been many episodes where they have picked at society's mistakes and mock it to a certain extent in a joking matter which entertain audiences most of the time such as for example Family guy where they mocked feminists and women in general through peter on of the shows main characters in which he wrote a comic for the local newspaper where he discriminated women and presented them not as a real person but more as a tool for use of men such as through one of his comic strips as shown to the right side of the page. Furthermore through the episode peter is criticized about his actions by a female corespondent and he replies with a crud and offensive joke about how women specifically feminist are easily impressed by a velvet cake in which they cut to a scene where they do the exact action peter made a remark on.
