Analysing Newspapers

Main Image-

The main image presents the Statue of Liberty covering her face due to most likely embarrassment that links towards the front page story over President Trump and his decisions. It goes especially well with the headline 'It's President Trump' these two technical codes go well together as it presents a statement about Trump himself and how each action he takes causes more issues or tarnishes U.S.A's identity the background shows a storm looming over the figure this signifies that due to recent events that lead to Donald Trump's 'success'  it may have started something very bad and these types of predicaments attract a lot of media attention within the public leading to more sales.

Heading-

The heading attract a lot of attention simply cause of Donald Trumps name being used within the title and it's been used in a way to present bad intentions by Trump as its also presented through the colour red which signifies Danger.


Pull Quote-

The quote itself is a verbal warning towards the audience which attract a lot of publicity as people within society are always intrigued by danger signs and causes them to want to know more about the situation when they lay their eyes on the quote itself.


In the top right corner it shows another story which is clearly less important than the Trump story which is why its based within a small box even though it involves the death of seven people within the country and needs to resolved apparently Trump's mistakes are far more important and more news worthy for the majority of the front cover. 


The Daily Mirror is a tabloid due to the emphasis and exaggeration it inserts within each article it publishes as the trump story can be seen as an example if you were to look at the 'pul quote' and the image form the statue of Liberty and the background with a sort of Dooms day atmosphere prior to the black and white background and the ever glooming storm clouds. Additionally one story from the top right hand corner presents that an actual big incident occurred within the same time space and yet it has a little box showing the recognition of the considerably bad events. Therefore showing us that the Daily Mirror prioritises political news over our own country's issues at the moment.


The Daily Mirror is apart of the left wing meaning that the newspaper supports the labour view point within society meaning most of the stories they publish are mostly going to be morally based on the benefit of supporting the labour party.

The Daily Mirror is a British national daily tabloid newspaper founded in 1903. It is owned by parent company Reach plc. From 1985 to 1987, and from 1997 to 2002, the title on its masthead was simply The Mirror.
